yesterday was our 2 month wedding anniversary...woohoo!
how did we celebrate, you ask? well, we actually celebrated a few days early (okay, 5, we went out last saturday night).
drew and i have a shared affinity for sushi. our first experience with sushi as a couple was at Hiro sushi in Omaha with my bffe emma lou. our next adventure was at yuki hana in fargo (one of my FAVORITE places to go with my dad:)!).

and on our third sushi outing (again at Yuki Hana), drew asked me to marry him:)!
On that night, we ordered some of my FAVORITES (red dragon roll (yummy!), ichi roll, 25th street roll (one of drew's faves), scallop nigiri, albacore nigiri, and eel nigiri....AND to make it even more special, they (for some reason) decided to put our entire order in one of the special boats that they use for big platters...(and he hadn't even asked yet!)...see for yourself:
drew proposed when we got back to his house that night - and among his MANY amazing and perfect for me qualities, he is the BEST sushi-eating partner i could ever ask for!

Third sushi date? Was that three consecutive dates? Or spread out? I'm picturing third date proposal:)

steffany - alas, no third date proposal;) - 16 months after our first date, he proposed, and we were married 4 months later:). but......if you're looking for third date proposals, you should ask my mom (suepsales a few comments up) - my dad proposed on their third date!
