tasty tuesday!

So........it's tasty tuesday! For the full Tasty Tuesday experience, check out Lindsay's blog. My contribution this week is actually stolen from my mom, but I don't think she'll mind:)...

Frosty's Chex Mix

Ingredients:

• 1 package of Almond Bark (or more, depending on how much of the below you use)
• Rice Chex
• Corn Chex
• Dry Roasted Peanuts
• Stick Pretzels
• Cheerios
• M&Ms

Directions:

• Mix the non-almond bark ingredients together in a big bowl (in whatever amounts you like)
• Melt the almond bark and pour over the other ingredients, stir to coat.
• Pour onto cookie sheet or pan and cool in the fridge for a couple hours, then break apart and store.

This past Saturday, I made this with my mom & peg when we got together to make Christmas cookies...now, we hired my dad to be our photographer, and although he thinks he's a pro, if pressed he will probably admit that he has more fun pretending to be one and being...um..unconventional in his photo-taking style. :) check it out for yourself...

*note: immediately following this photo op, dan moved into the pantry to become the first to ever take a picture from the pantry...and then the batteries on mom's camera died. darn.
