i FOUND the usb cord for my camera...

...but then i brought the cord for my old blackberry with to work instead of the camera cord, and thus, will have to wait until tomorrow to actually post any pictures from my life:S. blast:(.
so, in lieu of real-life pictures, i'll try to find pictures that aren't mine to show what i picked up yesterday...

i stopped in at hornbacher's on my way home from work yesterday and found myself stuck in front of the garden seed display...it happens sometimes:S...so, i called up mom and asked for some flower seed advice, since i started clearing out the old dead flower bed on the south side of my house last week, and i'm READY to plant pretty flowers:)! (of course, i apparently have to wait until after the 20th of may to avoid frost, but whatever:))...so here's what i ended up with:

a climbing plant mix that includes black-eyed susans,

nasturtium,

morning glories,( and other things that I can't seem to remember)

and then rosemary, lavender,
california poppies,

salvia,
forget-me-nots (celestial blue!),
thyme,
chamomile,
and gold dust alyssum.
now that i have my camera cord, i'll be able to actually post the pictures i take of the flower bed in progress:).

on a completely different note, i'm beginning to doubt that summer will ever arrive in north dakota. we've had the space heater on in the house all week, and i have been a bit of a frozen popsicle. of course, now that i'm writing these words, the rain and gloom has disappeared outside and i can see blue sky again (misleading though it may be!). figures:).
